 C&R Offices Closed for Staff Meeting

All of the Clerk and Recorder Offices will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 for an All-Staff Meeting.

 Last Day to Register

The last day to register for participation in the General Election is Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Visit the Elections office at 200 S. Spruce St. or go online at to register.

 2012 General Election Logic and Accuracy Test

 Mesa County Elections is conducting Logic & Accuracy test for the 2012 General Election. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

 Party Affiliation Deadline
Today is the deadline for changing your party affiliation to participate in the 2012 Primary Election on June 26th.
 Governor Signing House Bill 1036

The Mesa County Clerks office supports HB1036 and hopes the Governor will sign it. 

 2012 Primary Logic & Accuracy Test
Mesa County Elections is conducting the Logic & Accuracy test for the 2012 Primary Election on Wednesday May 23rd, 2012 at 9:00a.m.
 Motor Vehicle No Contact Days
Due to the inability to secure additional resources as a result of increase in transactions, turnover, training needs and budget, the Motor Vehicle Title and Registrations section of the Clerk and Recorder’s office will close the Clifton and Main Motor Vehicle Offices to the public (no contact days) on the 2nd Monday and Wednesday of each month beginning in May.
 2012 General Election- Citizen Review

The Mesa County Clerks office is requesting comments and input on conducting the 2012 General Election.  Attend a Citizen Review on Monday April 16th at 11:30 if you would like to comment.  RSVP to Amanda Hilgenfeld at 244-1749.

 March 6th, 2012- Democrat Caucus
To participate in the Democratic Caucus, Mesa County voters need to be affiliated with the Democrat Party since January 6, 2012 and know their new precinct number.

Announcing a public Logic and Accuracy Test February 23rd, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for the City of Fruita Municipal Election.

 February 9th - Primary Mail Ballot Comments

The Mesa County Clerks office is requesting comments and input on conducting the Primary Election by mail.

 New Motor Vehicle Hours - January 2012

Beginning January 23, 2012,  Motor Vehicle offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
