About Mail-In VotingNo excuse mail-in voting is available to Colorado voters who would prefer to not go to the polls. The voter can sign up to be a Permenant Mail-In Voter (PMIV) or submit a mail-in ballot application. A Mail-in ballot is then mailed to the voter, who can fill it out in the convenience of their home. Completed ballots may be returned via mail or by dropping them into a ballot box. A Permenant Mail-In Voter will receive all ballots by mail where an mail-in ballot application is good for one election or for one year's worth of elections. A return envelope - The colored envelope you return your ballot in. Make sure you remember to sign the affidavit found beneath the envelope flap.
